 Ask the Almighty
Fulfilling the mandate of the Great Commission to see the Church awakened spiritually, the world reached for Christ and all people discipled through a powerful church planting, missions movement, will require a massive mobilization of prayer in the Church. God will not allow it any other way. It is only through our dependence upon Him in prayer that He will receive the glory for His work in our midst. There is much to be done after we have prayed, but nothing of significance before prayer.

Therefore the first focus of and the foundation undergirding the Restoration Revolution is Asking the Almighty...growing in intimacy with God in prayer for the sake of His kingdom on this earth. The clear message of human history is this: if we are to see God work powerfully in and through His Body, the Church, it will happen in response to the passionate, united, intergenerational prayers of His people. Prayer always precedes a mighty move of God's Spirit.

Imagine then, the Christian Churches/ Churches of Christ growing in prayer as never before and coming together as the intergenerational Body of Christ.  The prayers themselves have taken on the agenda of God and are focused on the advance of the Kingdom of Christ. Every church plant and mission effort advances through a massive movement of purposeful, kingdom-focused prayer. Leaders and servants are continually raised up, equipped and sent out from churches and college campuses. Everyone in every church is passionately involved in the lifeblood of missions as prayer becomes a lifestyle rather than a program, event, or just a few minutes in the morning quiet time.  The Throne of God is continually bombarded for the sake of the lost.  Can the eyes of your heart see such things?

Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well? (Matthew 6:33).
