Identifying, equipping & deploying new leaders
We are in need of more full-time Christian servants.
It is not our place to determine where or how anyone serves. Our purpose is to extend this invitation and ask you to help in any way you can. When you review each focus area, you will see that we have some high goals. 10,000 new workers is a high number. However, we have 5,960 churches inside the U.S. If every church would recruit just two people, we would have 11,920 new servants in 10 years! This calling is for preachers, missionaries, or any path of ministry that the Lord would lead these new recruits.
We are asking all the Christian Churches to identify these leaders. Who among your young have a heart for God? Encourage them to consider being servants of God. Train them while they are with you. Help them get the experience they will need and then send them out to serve God in His kingdom.
Business Professionals. We are seeking to involve a large group of untapped kingdom workers who are business professionals. Traditional ways of sharing the gospel are not an option in many areas of the world. Yet, the gospel can gain access into countries that are closed to traditional missionaries by using the many business people within our churches.
International Students. Just about any church family or individual can build a bridge and show Jesus to a college student who is far from home. Another huge resource of new servants that is greatly untapped within our own country is the 670,000 international students who attend our universities or colleges each year. Seventy percent of them will never see the inside of a Christian home. (That?s 469,000 students!) These possible kingdom workers already know their language, their customs, and the layout of their own country.
Any church can pray, identify, equip & deploy new servants! |
